I know some people have fun doing both, no doubt. They can already summon each other as duelists but god knows why they don’t and waste everyone’s time by summoning unknowing hunters and invaders to their fight club. Please, From, create a separate arena for pvp or fight club. 2 out of 3 of those are some staged scenario with a friend nearby or fake host in some rune farming operation. 4 out of 5 invasions are summons from some jacked PVPer begging you to fight them and show off their build or katana. Then a third person entered the room with a chess piece of their choice and started a fight with one of the pieces on the board, in the middle of game play. Just at a game level imagine you were playing chess with a friend. I told him to go back to COD if he wants to beat up people with weapons. The other day some 10 year old kid I invaded complained in a dm afterwards to me that I beat him with magic and madness. PVPers want Fortnite or fight club and not an engaging game. PVPers are why - in part - people don’t take games seriously as art or even as games. In fact that’s what makes a game a game and a sport a sport. And a game doesn’t have to have a winner and a loser. The real dedicated pvpers are people who want ER to be Mortal Kombat with armour and swords. There is a time and a place for that but just not in game. It’s time for a dedicated non-game space for PVPers. It’s been said before in a nicer way I know. But overall I think they will always be a staple in these games and there have been many, many cool variations of them throughout From Software's history. Katanas seem controversial now.which is strange.just use what YOU like and forget everyone else.but they have become somewhat ubiquitous so there will inherently be some hate attached with that fact. Literally getting stronger with every subsequent hit.

Hand of Melania with the shard of Alexander, rotten curved sword talisman and millicents prosthesis makes me feel like a whirlwind of death. I've never cared too much for river's weapon art so it just augments the blood build up lost by maining HoM. I currently main hand the hand of Melania and off hand Rivers of blood. I have been trying to find my perfect katana build for almost 500 hours. Event though its weapon art was a bit wonky, it had its time and place. In dark souls 3, I found onikiri and ubadachi and never looked back. The lost variant hit for a ridiculous amount of damage if you stacked bloodtinge gems. (when poison was at its best, except in the sunken king dlc) I made a savage skill/blood tinge Chikage build in bloodborne. In OG I used the washing pole, its two handed R2 was broken (in a good way) letting you stay far away from your ceptively far away. I've been using katanas in souls game since dark souls 1. I'm gonna go on a bit of rant that will probably get some hate but that's ok.
